Changing Your Starting 5

The Short Answer: Go to My Team, toggle to next month, tap "Move" on a team, then tap "Here" where you want it to go. Changes are only allowed for future months, and they lock at 12:00 AM on the 1st.

When Can You Change Your Lineup?

You can only change your lineup for future months.

Once a month begins, its lineup is locked. You're always looking ahead.

The Deadline

Changes for next month must be made before 12:00 AM on the 1st.

How to Change Your Starting 5

Step 1: Go to My Team

Tap the My Team tab in the bottom navigation.

Step 2: Toggle to Next Month

At the top of the screen, you'll see the current month with arrows on either side. Tap the right arrow to move to the next month.

Step 3: See the "Move" Buttons

When viewing a future month, each team row displays a "Move" button. These buttons only appear for future months — current and past months are locked.

Step 4: Tap "Move" on a Team

Select the team you want to move. Once you tap "Move," all other teams' buttons change to "Here".

Step 5: Tap "Here" to Place the Team

Tap "Here" on the position where you want your selected team to go. The two teams swap positions.

Step 6: Repeat as Needed

Continue moving teams until your Starting 5 and Bench are set the way you want them for next month.

Example: Swapping a Starter and Bench Team

Scenario: You want to bench Napoli and start Frankfurt instead.

Current lineup:

Steps:

1. Toggle to the future month
2. Tap "Move" on Napoli
3. Tap "Here" on Frankfurt

Result:

Frankfurt is now a starter. Napoli is now on the bench.

What You Can Do

Swap a Starter with a Bench Team

The most common move. Promote a bench team to your Starting 5, demote a starter to the bench.

Multiple Swaps

You can make as many moves as you want before the lock. Swap two teams, swap five teams, rearrange everything — it's your roster.

Reorder Your Lineup

You can rearrange the order of your Starting 5 or Bench. Currently, order doesn't affect scoring — all 5 starters earn points equally.

What You Can't Do

Change the Current Month

Once the month begins, it's locked. You can only change future months.

Add or Remove Teams

You can only swap positions between your existing 10 teams. You can't drop or add teams (waivers/trades are a future feature).

When to Make Changes

Ideal: A Few Days Before the Lock

Don't wait until the last minute. Give yourself time to review fixtures and think through your decisions.

Risky: Last Minute

Life happens. Phones die. Last-minute changes are stressful and error-prone. Set your lineup early.

Tips for Choosing Your Starting 5

• Check fixture count — How many matches does each team have?
• Check fixture difficulty — Who are they playing?
• Check European football — Teams in Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League have extra high-value matches
• Check recent form — Are they winning? Scoring?
• Compare starters to bench — Look at the PTS, GD, and MR columns for each team

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't make any changes?

Your current lineup carries over unchanged. If you're happy with your Starting 5, you don't have to do anything.

Can I undo a move?

Yes — just move them back. The "Move" and "Here" system lets you swap teams as many times as you want before the lock.

Do my changes save automatically?

Yes. Each swap is saved immediately. There's no "confirm" button for the overall lineup — moves are applied as you make them.

Can other managers see my changes before the lock?

No. Your next month's lineup is private until the month begins.
